Adventures scheduled for 2025

West Coast of Scotland - a paddlers paradise!

When not running trips abroad I spend my time on the west coast of Scotland.

This is a kayakers paradise, with a wide range of venues to explore, and at a level to match your skills and aspirations.

Either base camping or BnB accommodation, with day paddling from Seil on the Slate Islands or adventures on Mull, Skye or anywhere in between.

If interested in my popular annual trip in June to Shetland  - please see Shetland in June.

Lofoten in Arctic Norway is our expedition destination for May.   (Now taking bookings for 2026)

In May we will be heading back to Lofoten, an amazing area to explore.  We will be wild camping and self sufficient for the duration of the trip.  Contact me for more information - limited availability at this stage.

Shetland  -  June.      (Now taking bookings for 2026)

When not in Greenland, Shetland is probably the next best place I have ever paddled - I lived there for 20 years so know the area well, those secret caves and tunnels and where our best options are if the weather is iffy.

These trips are in June for the wildlife and "Simmer Dim".

You will only need a head torch for exploring the caves.

(paddling, wildlife, history, culture, skills)

Greenland Expeditions    some limited availability still for this summer

In the summer months of July, August and September - you will find me on the coast of East Greenland.

This is a paddlers paradise and area I recommend all serious paddlers visit at least once in their lifetime.

This will be my 21st season, I never tire of it - its different every time and I cant wait to get back.

There are extra dates this year as the future is uncertain and we are going to make the most of it

while we can.
