Steve Lawes

Steve is ex services, so is used to long hours, hardship and stress - while maintaining a cool, calm and rational approach to any situation.  Not that we have any of these on our trips.

An accomplished Himalayan and Everest Mountaineer, Steve has considerable "third world" experience, both personally and as an expedition Leader / Guide.

Two Kayak expeditions with me now in this area as assistant guide - due to be working with me again during the summer 2022.

Steve is certified as a BC Guide and holds the ISKGA Paddling in Ice Module.
